As part of the company's social responsibility and its ongoing commitment to the local community, Ahli Microfinance Company organized a series of breast cancer awareness sessions in collaboration with the King Hussein Cancer Center. These sessions were attended by women, beneficiaries, and employees of the company, with the goal of raising awareness about the importance of early detection and how to prevent the disease, in addition to providing psychological and emotional support to women who may be at risk.
The awareness sessions were held at health centers in various regions and governorates, including Irbid, Amman, and Karak, with the presence of medical specialists. The sessions included educational lectures on early detection methods and the importance of early treatment to reduce the risks of the disease, as well as free screenings for the participating women. Additionally, real-life experiences were shared by some breast cancer survivors, who spoke about their challenges and how they overcame them with support from their families and the community.
